The idea for Mothballer began a few years ago when living in New York City, my girlfriend and I stumbled across some old snapshots at a thrift store. We couldn't help wonder about how they got there, where they came from. These were obviously someone's adored family photos at one point, now pretty much laid to waste on a dusty shelf in a second-hand shop. Someone, somewhere had to know these people. So, we began scouring thrift shops, antique stores, trash bins, estates—everywhere we could think of—to recover these unique treasures.

We are selling these gems for a very modest price in hopes of breathing new life into them and giving them new homes. To be framed and appreciated once again. All proceeds will go to support local not-for-profit organizations.
